Shiloh. It’s funny word, isn’t it? It’s a biblical city, but the name really took off when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie used it on May 27, 2006, to name their newborn daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. There were other celebrity babies before—Madonna’s Lourdes, Gwyneth’s Apple, even Angelina’s adopted son Maddox—but Shiloh was the first to become a celebrity in her own right. Her newborn photos were auctioned off to People magazine for reportedly $4 million. Not a bad first paycheck, right? Of course, the money was donated to charity, but the Shiloh spotlight never waned. The kid has her own tributes on YouTube. Blogs discuss her wardrobe. She even has her own IMDB page (among her credits, a show on VH1 about the 20 Cutest Celebrity Babies). And when she wants to be in a movie, we bet she’ll make mom and dad proud.
